Traditional dance and music groups
To promote Khmer arts and culture, music and dance troupes have been formed with the children from Krousar Thmey.

The schools and centres train the troupes of some thirty students from around Phnom Penh, Serey Sophon and Siem Reap. These particularly gifted and motivated children present shows in connection with awareness-raising campaigns and prevention campaigns and at special events such as International Children’s Rights Day. By demonstrating their talents, the children take part in preserving and disseminating Khmer traditions. The idea is also to communicate, in a way that is both fun and educational, about topics concerning Krousar Thmey’s activities. The blind and deaf children convey a message about disabilities and the benefits of special education. The children in the school of Khmer arts and culture communicate the risks associated with human trafficking and child prostitution.
