Structure

Krousar Thmey is a Cambodian foundation whose activities are supervised and coordinated from Phnom Penh. The organisation is engaged in three types of activity:
- Education, especially for children who are deaf or blind
- Child welfare, particularly for street children and children who are victims of human trafficking
- Development of Khmer arts and culture in a country where traditional arts have suffered greatly from the years of war
We undertake actions in 14 of the country’s provinces, and in every case we hand over on-site management to a local director with well-defined responsibilities.
The Cambodian foundation receives support from three distinct European entities: Krousar Thmey France, Krousar Thmey Switzerland and Krousar Thmey United Kingdom. Each of these associations is recognised as a charitable organisation in the country where it is located. All have the same primary purpose: to raise funds and raise awareness of Krousar Thmey’s work in Cambodia.
