ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
OBJECTIVE
To favor the children’s emancipation through a variety of artistic and cultural activities and make them aware of the world surrounding them.
PROJECT
For 30 years, Krousar Thmey has made cultural, artistic and sport activities available to all the children of the Child Welfare program, for them to develop their creativity and build self-confidence. It is also a therapeutic way for them to express themselves in ways other than words, reconnect with their identity and better embrace their culture.
ACTIVITIES
- Traditional Khmer shadow theater, dance and music lessons
- Music and dance performances for public events
- Sport activities such as skateboarding, rugby, football…
- Cultural trips (museums, nature reserves, temples…)
- Celebration of Cambodian festivals
