OBJECTIVE

To help the young people in our programs to build their future by facilitating their access to higher education, training and employment.

PROGRAM

In 2011, following a study analyzing the needs of the beneficiaries of Krousar Thmey, the Cambodian foundation decided to create a new department with the aim of providing a personalized support to the young people of the Education and Child Protection programs through guidance, training, company visits, etc.

TESTIMONY
Poty, IT student

Aged 22, Poty studied IT at Passerelles Numériques’ school in Cambodia.  He has been supported for 10 years by Krousar Thmey within our Child welfare program.
When he was a child, he and his two younger siblings were living in the streets.

In October 2015, at the end of his studies, he went to several workshops organized by the academic and career counselling department. It is on this occasion that he meets PNC and decides to apply. His orientation counselor accompanied him throughout the process, which included a written examination and an interview. His field of study pleases him very much; he now wants to work for a computer company in Phnom Penh at the end of his studies.

ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT

To improve access to employment for young adults with disabilities by giving them the keys to understanding the work world. To prepare them for job search or entrepreneurial approach.
